In Labour Pt.1

Let me brief a little bit about my pre-pregnancy as i was in 37 weeks, i had my regular check up and by the time Dr.Marsita (my gynae) did what she should do; and my vagina was dilated for about 2cm and the dilation process is by using her four finger inserted into my vagina. Sakit ok!! hmm, but i always let it be.. the pain is what i need to bear (the four fingers is nothing comparing to the baby's head once she come out...hahahaha..) it was on monday as i can remember; and she did a test call vagina swab test to determine weather my cervix path is save for nomal delivery. refer here for more info --> http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-vaginal-swab.htm#did-you-know

The next day after, i had bleeding coming out but it just in a small dot (brownish) and dry, i called dr.marsita to let her know my condition and she calmly said it was normal and i am about to give birth (as the blood spot is one of the sign to tell your body is ready to receiving a baby soon besides water broke.heh.) and she ask me to give birth on Friday and i need to meet her on Thursday. AFDAL, as she'd love to accepting delivery on FRIDAY as the lovely day in ISLAM and on MONDAY as the day of Rasulullah s.a.w was born.

That Thursday (28 June 2012) i came to her for my details vagina check up and guess what she said i am ready for delivery as my vagina dilation has had opened to 5 cm which i need to get admitted on the same day; we went to Naluri Hospital and meet Dr.Aini (Anaesthesia but not specialist -  a friend of Dr.Marsita) to provide epidural as requested by me, myself. ( i am afraid of the pain??! yes, sangat takut kalau sakit.). As i will be given epi, i wasn't allowed to take any food thereafter. i was about 4pm by the time we reach Naluri,  given an ubat untuk buang air besar and epi was given around 5pm.

During entire day after 5pm, i wasn't feeling anything, no pain, no nothing.

i gain almost 20kg.. which is up tp 72kg.. hahahah.. from normal weight roughly about 50kg - 53kg and turned out to be 70kg - 72 kg.. started from 8 months my body had a little water retention not in a large amount, just a normal retention.

my mr.tall being naughty & tired.

tired of waiting for 7 hours in the labor room, here come our beloved gynae at 12am.. and i was sleeping as i am tired and contraction started to feel at 11pm. To let go of the pain i let myself sleep and at 1am dr.marsita  insert her fingers and "ok liyana, dah 7 cm" she insert some sort of device to pull my water pouch and "daaaa" and the water broken and there you go 10cm "dah boleh dah ni"
